Vivo Y100 5G with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Launching Soon; Specs & Renders Leaked

Last year, Vivo launched two smartphones under the Vivo Y100 5G moniker in India and China. The Vivo Y100 5G, equipped with the Dimensity 900 processor, was introduced in India in February 2023, while the variant featuring the Snapdragon 695 processor was released in China in October 2023. Both devices boast distinct specifications and designs, and they are exclusively available in their respective countries.

To add more confusion, Vivo is set to announce another phone bearing the Vivo Y100 5G moniker. This upcoming model will showcase entirely different specifications compared to the previously launched Vivo Y100 5G variants. Today, we are sharing the comprehensive specifications and renders of the new Vivo Y100 5G.

Vivo Y100 5G Renders and Specifications:

The Vivo Y100 will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1200 nits of peak brightness. The front camera will be housed within a punch hole.

Vivo Y100 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. The device will be available with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB. Additionally, it will support a virtual Extended RAM feature of up to 8GB.

On the rear, the phone will boast a triple camera setup comprising a 50MP Primary camera, an 8MP Wide-Angle lens, and a 2MP lens. Photography features include Super Night Mode, Stylish Night Filter, and Multistyle Portrait. For selfies, an 8MP lens will be employed.

The phone will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 80W FlashCharge through its USB-C port. Security features will include an under-display fingerprint scanner. The purple variant of the phone will feature a leather finish with an anti-stain coating. It will also include a dual stereo speaker setup and carry an IP54 rating. The phone’s metallic frame finish contributes to its slim dimensions of 7.79mm and a weight of 185g.
