Immortal Fenyx Rising is Ubisoft’s upcoming game that is heavily influenced by Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Releasing on December 3rd, the game will focus on Fenyx’s journey to free the Gods of Olympus from a curse. The game will be releasing for all consoles along with Google Stadia, PC, and Amazon Luma.
Now, Ubisoft has announced the post-launch content of the game. There will be many free in-game events, weekly dungeon challenges, daily quests, and three main story expansion for the players. The Episodic story expansion will be available for players who buy the season pass or the Gold edition of the game. These include A New God, Myths of the Eastern Realm, and The Lost Gods.
A New God
In this expansion, Fenyx will meet the Gods in their home, i.e., in Olympus, to take on the Trial of the Olympians. These will test Fenyx’s abilities to challenge the Gods themselves. Fenyx will prove its worth by completing these trials filled with unknown challenges and traps and thus will be able to join the Inner circle of the Pantheon.
Myths of the Eastern Realm
The Myths of the Eastern Realm expansion will take players to the Chinese mythology. Here players will control a new hero called Ku, who embarks on a journey to rescue mortals in a new open-world. The DLC’s combat and exploration style will also be different, focusing heavily on a unique fighting style based on the Chinese Martial Arts.
The Lost Gods
The Lost Gods mythology will take players back to Greece and the Greek mythology. But this time around, the game will introduce a new hero and a new gameplay style. The game will become a top-down brawler rather than a third-person hack and slash. Here players will control Ash, championed by Fenyx, who adventures through a new island to find the lost Gods to restore the balance in the world.
