Turtle Beach, a leader in the gaming headset brands, unveiled two new headphones at E3 2018 on June 12th. The two headphones are the Recon 200 and the Stealth 300, which are aimed at Battle Royale genre.
Since the introduction of PubG and then Frotnite, a lot of casual gamers have adopted to the FPS and Battle Royale genre. It sudden boost in trend has lead many businesses to aim their products in this direction, be it merchandise or otherwise. Turtle Beach were smart enough to capitalise upon this opportunity and introduce the Recon 200 and Stealth 300, Battle Royale aimed headphones to lure in gamers from all over. The headphones offer excellent audio quality and voice chat abilities, offering to up the battle royale game for many gamers. Having designed these headphones not only for those sitting all day playing Fortnite or PubG, Turtle Beach claims these are perfect all rounders, good for content creators or gamers of all categories.
Firstly, the Recon 200. These wired headsets support a sleek and simplistic design, coming in either black or white. It promises to deliver amplified sound with crisp and punchy bass. Being able to function across all platforms, the Recon 200’s 40mm drivers give a rich audio experience. This coupled with the firm metal band and memory foam ear cups, provides for a long, uninterupted and comfortable gaming session. The inline remote allows for the use to control the master volume and variable mic-monitoring for the flip to mute microphone attached. To power this behemoth, a rechargable battery, giving a 12 hour backup allows for uninterupted gaming. The headsets will be priced at $59.95.
The Stealth 300, a younger, more shy sibbling to the ironically more extravagant Stealth 600. Packing in more features than the Recon 200s, these too are wired headsets, coming in a stealthy black and green look. They offer rich sound, defined as very pleasing to the ears. The build quality is sturdy with the metal band renforcing the build while the memory foam cushioning and Turtle Beach’s unique ProSpecs™ glasses friendly design offer a comfortable listening experience. Along with this, for the Xbox One, the Stealth 300s are equiped to offer Microsoft’s proprietary Windows Sonic, to allow for surround sound and give a more immersive experience for the gammers. These features, and the ones from Recon 200s, these headphones pack a punch, coming in at $79.95.
Both these headphone are yet to be launched, with the Stealths launching this July while the Recons scheduled for later, this Fall.
