In a recent poll done on the internet, results concluded that the Redmi Note 8 Pro led the market in mid-range devices. There is no doubt about the success and the capabilities that the device holds, to date. Perhaps that is why many people await its next iteration. The Redmi Note 9 Pro
Right off the bat, the thing that stands out is the huge 6.67-inch FHD LCD display. It would feature a 20:9 aspect ratio, a common feat in many modern smartphones today. To power that display, we’d have a huge 5020mAh battery. While that is huge for this particular price point, it is generally a stand out in modern-day flagships as well. That would be supporting fast charge as well. The tweet mentions that the device would come with an 18W fast charging option.
The silicon powering the entire device would be the Snapdragon 720G. It is noted that the G in that processor model refers to its gaming abilities. The processor, seen before as well, clocks higher than the typical Snapdragon 720. This coupled with the huge display and the 5020mAh battery, the device is geared for mobile gamers. Considering the fact that the market it is aimed for, a lot of people indulge in mobile gaming. That would make the device quite a hit among these users. Additionally, the phone would come in two variants, a 4GB+64GB and a 6GB+128GB one.
Lastly, the camera. The Redmi Note 9 Pro would feature a similar setup to its predecessor. A 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide lens and 5MP Macro lens with depth photography capabilities. On the front though, we see a more modern style punch-hole module. It would be a 16MP shooter. This also means the screen to body ratio would be better than that of the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
