SEGA Confirms That Sonic Frontiers Will Receive Multiple Free DLCs In Future

Sonic Frontiers is the most successful Sonic game among recent releases; it impressed the fans with its beautiful open world, storyline, and improved sense of speed. Still, the reviews of Sonic Frontiers were mixed due to the lack in the gameplay department.

However, SEGA was fast in releasing a free DLC for the game as it was already confirmed a month before the Sonic Frontiers release that a free Monster Hunter DLC would be released for the game shortly after its release that would include Rathalos and Felyne Rathalos-themed cosmetics for Sonic.

Unfortunately, it didn’t fill the customization inventory, but something is better than nothing. However, as reported previously, SEGA is closely observing the feedback of Sonic Frontiers, and teams are working to improve the experience for the fans.

And it looks like fans already have something to look forward to; in a press statement after the release of Monster Hunter DLC, Sega confirmed that there would be multiple free DLCs for Sonic Frontiers, and their release will be stretched over the coming months well into 2023 as well.

SEGA is also happy to announce that it plans on supporting Sonic Frontiers with multiple content updates that will be free to all users starting with the Monster Hunter Collaboration Pack and extending into next year.

So it is clear that there is a lot for the Sonic Fans coming soon; these updates might also improve the areas in which the game is lacking and some other quality of life changes.

It will be exciting to see what other collaborations we can see, like this new Monster Hunter DLC. Sonic Frontiers is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
