Exclusive: OPPO A38 Renders, Specifications & Price Leaked

OPPO is expected to launch multiple phones under the OPPO A Series soon. Recently, OPPO A38 and OPPO A18 have received certification in multiple countries. The certification sites reveal the model names and numbers of the phones, but no further information is available.

OPPO has yet to officially confirm the launch of these phones. In the meantime, today at Appuals, we bring you the renders, complete specifications, and pricing details of the OPPO A38.

At the front, the OPPO A38 will employ a V-shaped display. It will be a 6.56-inch LCD panel featuring 1612×720 (HD+) pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and support for 16.7 million colors.

Under the hood, the OPPO A38 will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor. In terms of storage, it will come equipped with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. On the software side, the phone will run Android 13 OS with OPPO’s proprietary ColorOS 13 skin layered on top.

At the rear, the OPPO A38 will feature a vertically aligned dual-camera setup accompanied by a flash. This camera arrangement comprises a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera featuring an f/2.4 aperture, which is likely intended for depth or macro photography.

For capturing selfies, the phone will incorporate a 5MP lens with an f/2.2 aperture. The primary rear camera will also offer support for video recording at a resolution of 1920×1080, capable of capturing footage at 30fps.

The OPPO A38 will be backed by a 5000mAh battery and will support charging through a USB-C port. The phone will have a plastic body and will feature an IP54 rating, providing protection against dust and water spray. It will be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

Furthermore, the phone will offer various connectivity features, including support for dual Nano-SIM slots, microSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and Wi-Fi 5. Its location services will include support for QZSS, AGPS, GLONASS, GPS, Beidou, and Galileo.

Lastly, in terms of pricing, the OPPO A38 with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM will be priced at EUR 159 in Europe. The device will be available in Black and Gold color variants. It is expected to launch next month in Europe and will soon become available in India and various other Asian countries.
