OnePlus May Be Working On TWS Earbuds: Tweet Suggests These Would be Called “Buds”

A couple of years ago, OnePlus came out with its OnePlus Bullets. While they weren’t quite the performers, they did provide a good bang for the buck. Then we saw the second rendition of the device and then the Bullets Wireless Z. Sadly though, in the world of truly wireless earbuds, they didn’t really strike the innovation bit to users. People have been waiting for a truly wireless version of the bullets from OnePlus. After all, even Google came up with its rendition and it was a huge improvement over the previous version.

Now though, we saw a recent tweet from Max J. on Twitter. He has been known to provide legit tweets and tips regarding upcoming technology. The image he shared was quite simple, in a traditional OnePlus style. The image reads: “Buds.”. The image for truly wireless earbuds is there too and it resembles the ones from Google. The earbuds themselves resemble the Airpods. Now, one may question what the name for these would be.

In the comments, we can see people arguing whether these would be the OnePlus Bullets Buds or just the OnePlus Buds. Max J. claims that the buds would be called the latter. Right now though, it is in very young stages of the leaks. Would these have the similar sound quality to the current Bullets Wireless Z? Would the case have wireless charging and what would be the battery life?

Also, we have to see whether OnePlus would stay strong to its pricing policy and would price these future buds under a hundred dollars. If that is the case, these would be a steal. Additionally, we may see these when the OnePlus 8T series is dropped. More developments would follow in the weeks to come, obviously.
