OnePlus May be Coming up with a Budget Device: Entry Level Specs And A Sub-200$ Price Tag

It has not been long since OnePlus came out with its Nord, the budget phone king. The phone didn’t really make the mark the company was going for though. Although, in its defence, some reviewing bodies were way too hard on the budget phone. Not to mention, we the arrival of the Pixel 4a, the American market would definitely avoid this device.

According to the tweet from the Ishan Agarwal, the company may be working on another phone JUST for the American market.

Now, according to the tweet, the device may be coming out soon. The device is codenamed as Clover. According to the leaks, the phone would have 6.52-inch HD+ panel. It would come with quite a basic processor. This would be the Snapdragon 460, quite the entry-level. It would be outfitted with a 6000mAh battery and have support for 18W charging. It would have 4GB RAM and base storage. According to the leaks, it would also have a microSD expansion slot, pretty common for devices in the same category. The tweet further adds that the new OnePlus device would have a three-camera setup. A main 13MP shooter and two 2MP cameras. The fingerprint scanner would be on the back, no in-display option this time around.

This may actually be a game-changer for OnePlus. Of course, they already have budget options but for the US market, this would be a first. Not to mention, Ishan further added that this device may come out to be around $200. Now, let’s see how the final product comes out to be. If it is a good bang for the buck, it would be a hit.
