If you come across the error message ‘Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network’ while searching something on Google, That captcha can be triggered if you use a proxy sometimes it also triggers when the question you asked is unusual. Well, this happens when the Google systems think that the requests being sent are done automatically by a robot or a virus. Basically, when you search something on Google, what you are doing is sending requests to the servers which then respond to your respective query. However, when the requests are being sent too fast, you will be stopped by the said error message.

If the above solutions do not solve the error message for you, then you can try to isolate the issue by first restarting your system. If the issue persists even after a reboot, head to restarting your router. Restarting your router will most likely circumvent the issue.

Solution 4: Perform a Malware Scan

As we have mentioned, the error message can, rarely, be due to some malicious content on your system. In such a case, you should perform a scan using the Windows Defender or any third-party antivirus that you have installed on your system. If there’s any virus found, the Windows Defender or your third-party antivirus will take care of it and your issue should be fixed. To perform a scan using Windows Defender, do the following:

  1. Press Windows Key + I to open Settings.
  2. Type in ‘Virus and Threat’ in the search bar and then hit Enter.
  3. Once there, just click Quick scan to search for any malicious content quickly.
