Bethesda’s Leaked Licensed Game May Be Under the Disney Banner

Microsoft suffered a major leak earlier this month, as part of the FTC’s ongoing investigation into the company buying Activision Blizzard.

This leak put forward a trove of emails and presentations, dating all the way back to 2019. Amongst these emails was a roadmap for Bethesda’s upcoming projects, some of which were still unannounced, like Doom Year Zero and Fallout 3 Remaster.

In the midst of all this was a licensed IP game, something that piqued a lot of interest – slated to release in the fiscal year 2024. But what could it be?

Well, in a recent episode of the XboxEra podcast, Shpeshal Nick, in a discussion with Jesse Norris and Aarsal, mentioned how “a little birdie” told him that the licensed IP is under the Disney banner. However, this itself opens up a whole bunch of possibilities, since Disney isn’t just affiliated with a small number of IPs.

Nick did say that this was “all he was allowed to say.” However, there are some speculations: the IP could be related to Marvel or Star Wars, but it could also be something else. The door for guessing is wide open!

Keep in mind that it’s been some time that we’ve been hearing rumors for a Mandalorian game under development, and this could finally be it. However, due to the nature of this leak, we really can’t be sure.

On the other hand, in the same discussion, Nick also mentioned how Elder Scrolls VI would be exclusive to the Xbox and it was “no use debating” over it.

This is all we know for now, but rest assured that we will keep you updated as new information becomes available.
