Apple Watch Ultra 2 to Feature a 3000 Nits Display, Released at Apple Event

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is the company’s latest flagship smartwatch. The Ultra 2’s design is quite identical to the first-generation Apple Watch Ultra, implying that most of the improvements are on the inside.

The watch offers a brighter display than the previous Ultra model, rated at 3,000 nits, which Apple claims is the brightest display ever on an Apple Watch. When the device is in low-power mode, Apple promises that it will last 72 hours. Additionally, the casing of Apple’s Upcoming Watch Ultra 2 is now composed of 95% recycled titanium.

While the hardware of the Ultra has been upgraded, some of the most significant improvements that Apple Watch users will notice this year will come with watchOS 10, which introduces widgets, revamped app iconography, and new mapping and cycling functions to the watch interface. The display’s outside border will be used by a new watch face known as Modular Ultra.

The Ultra 2 is now available for presale for $799 and will arrive on September 22nd. Apple unveiled the new watch at Apple Park in Cupertino as part of the “Wonderlust” launch event. Apple Watch Series 9 and the less expensive SE were both updated.
