Following N7 Day yesteday, it’s been confirmed that Bioware will add the N7 soldier armor from the Mass Effect series into Anthem. Lead producer of Anthem and previous Mass Effect games Michael Gamble confirmed that the N7 soldier armor will be included in the upcoming online multiplayer role-playing game.

Earlier this year during an EA live stream, Bioware gave us our first look at the N7 armor in Anthem. The armor set revealed yesterday is different from the one we saw in the stream, which looked to be a Ranger skin. This means that Anthem will feature more than one type of N7 armor, which can be obtained alongside all customization items in-game without spending extra money.
Bioware has said that Mass Effect is currently on pause and the series is “certainly not dead.” Yesterday, while celebrating N7 Day, Bioware shared a short video to “take a look back—and a glimpse at the future of Mass Effect.”

In the meantime, Anthem, which is not a replacement for Mass Effect, will be releasing on February 22nd next year on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
